Large Headphones - Infrared Wireless Headphones Review

By Chris Morris

They most likely aren't effective well in noisy environments, like a wireless home stereo system. There is not much distinction between these and my Sennheiser 555 was a gift. These have lasted for 100s hours to date and sound great. For that price they cannot be beat. I previously had the black over the head earphones that cost about the same. I purchased these not too long ago simply because I had faith in Sony headphones. Cant wait to use them with an approaching red eye flight, I may use these headphones all day long without getting drained so I suggest them. The sound is remarkably great for such an affordable set of headphones.

Seriously for the cost, you could not do better. Everything in the product is nice. The noise-reduction only works if your music is a touch higher than the surrounding noise.

I had been very pleased with the cord length too becasue it is really long and I could possibly get up and walk off to a large part of the room if I need to. I put them on for hours while working and end up forgetting I am wearing them so comfortable enough. I'm certain the headband was created to make the entire unit more lightweght, but boy, I sure take care using the two thin strips of plastic which hold the right and left sides together. They're comfortable and sound great. It was among the best purchases I've made!

General, great headphones. Sure, they're cheaply made. They aren't transportable, so do not buy them for jogging with your ipod, they're way too big for that. They have great sound and I mosty use these cool headphones for home use.

These headphones are huge with a huge cable.

Delicate midrange sounds are often heard. Purchased for myself, and I really like them. Very comfortable, nice long cord on these custom headphones.

The moment I received this Sony MDR-XD200, I needed to return it. Spend a little more cash and get an excellent set of infrared wireless headphones.
