Canada, as a nation, is actually quite mysterious to the those in the outside world and that's just because the prevailing stereotypes don't do much to provide insight into it's cities. The Olympics in Vancouver introduced the world to a country that values nature and being progressive. In fact, Toronto, the largest city in the nation and the financial capital, is considered one of the great cities of the world and it is committed to building towards the future. Living in or visiting this city can be exciting with the variety of arcades and attractions in Toronto.

In terms of being a city with an eye on the future, Toronto boast a clean and efficient public transit system and has recently wired the area as a whole through a city-wide wi-fi network. With a population in the millions, this was no easy feet and just reiterates the city's commitment to moving forward.

There are dozens of arcades within the city limits and they vary enough that you can choose exactly what kind of environment you want, whether it is the newest games on the market or some old school nostalgia. In fact, pin ball machines, foosball, air hockey, and other more tactile games have become more popular than ever.

Finding the right venue for your family involves utilizing Toronto's wi-fi network. There are a variety of sites that keep you up to date concerning businesses, restaurants, and seasonal events. Also, you can download apps right into your smart phone that will alert you to what is happening.

In terms of other attractions, this area is like New York in that it has been influenced by the many cultures that have emigrated to it. Home to one of the greatest Chinatown's in the world, you can tour a variety of cuisines in one night.

Another world renowned food destination can be found at St. Lawrence Market. Every single Saturday this sprawling building is home to a farmer's market that has been going strong for 200 years and includes over 50 gourmet food vendors. Not content to just offer food, the market also hosts an antique fair every Sunday.

Attractions are numbered in, conceivably, the hundreds. There is always something to do here in town. Like with many highly populated areas, shopping is at a premium and tourists flock to the Eaton Centre every day.

In terms of shopping, many people also flock to the Eaton Centre. A multi-storied mall modeled after the Galleria in Milan, Italy, you'll be able to find every luxury brand in the world. There are also a number of other retailers as well, including some solely Canadian designers.

One of the largest and most well known areas is the Waterfront. Located right near down town this area is one of the best recreational waterfronts in all of North America and is a popular backdrop to a number of festivals. One of the most famous festivals is the Toronto International Film Festival, or TIFF, which has ground astronomical in its standing within the film community. The most A list stars attend and even premiere their movies on this carpet. When you're in this city there's never an excuse not to have anything to do.
